Amazon, Disney set to talk sports at upfronts

After jam-packed upfronts Monday, with NBCUniversal, Fox and Telemundo all presenting, we’re back for Day 2.

Amazon is leading things off with its inaugural upfronts presentation, taking the stage live from Pier 36. Sports are expected to play a big role, with an emphasis on “Thursday Night Football” and rumors swirling around a potential NBA bid.

Disney follows later in the day from North Javits Center, where the company has said the presentation should be done in time for WNBA season tip-off later in the evening on ESPN2. Disney has a large sports slate — look for highlights around college football, women’s basketball, the NFL and more.

The WNBA’s biggest moment? More fractures in men’s golf; Conferences set agendas for spring meetings and the revamp of the Charlotte Hornets continues.
